    • How can I make a reservation?

      Book on our website (yes, you already are in the correct place!) to get the best rate! We do not do reservations through the phone or email. In case you have any doubt while making your reservation, please get in touch with the hostel you are trying to book.

    • Do Urbany Hostels have any age restrictions?

      In UH London only guests from 18 to 40 years old are allowed (if you are outside this range please contact the hostel directly). In both Barcelona hostels the maximum allowed age is 50 years old and guests under 18 can stay only if they are accompanied at least of an adult (18 years old or over). Under 16 years old must stay in private rooms and proof kinship with their companions. 17 and 16 years old can stay in shared dorms as long as they are with an adult (18 years old or over) that signs a liability document.

    • Is there a time limit to check in?

      No time limit cos our front desk is open 24/7! (but if you are planning to reach the hostel after 4am, it would be great if you let us know!)

    • Wich is the cancelation policy? Can I modify or cancel my reservation?

      It depends on the type of reservation you did. If you booked the Flexible Rate on our website, you can easily change/cancel 48h before check in by reaching our bookings department by email (we do not accept cancellations by phone/whatsapp). If you booked via a third party, please get in touch directly with them.

    • Can I make a reservation without a credit card?

      Unfortunately it is not possible, a credit card is mandatory to confirm a reservation.

    • How many nights can I stay?

      We have a 7 day maximum stay per every 30 days.

    • I haven't received a confirmation email. What should I do?

      Sorry about that! Please, contact the bookings department of the hostel you have booked and give them your full name, date of arrival and confirmation number (if you have it). They will look for your reservation and resend your confirmation email.

    • Can I be sure all my friends will be put into the same dorm?

      We always strive to accommodate requests to place you and your friends in the same dorm. If you’ve booked separate beds and wish to stay together, you can contact the hostel to make a request. However, please note that this is subject to availability. To guarantee staying together, consider booking private room.

    • Can I make a group reservation?

      Yes! Our groups reservation departement is ready to assist you. If you are travelling with 14 people or more, please get in touch with them by filling up this form.

    • Do I need an ID to check in?

      Yes, to check in it is compulsory to show an ID (only European citizens) or Passport to check in the hostel.

    • Is bed linen included?

      Yes, all reservations include bed linen, pillow and duvet.

    • And what about towels?

      Towels are only included in the double private room reservations (and pink dorms in Barcelona). We have towels available for rent at the front desk.

    • Is there a kitchen for the guests?

      Yes, we have fully equipped guest kitchens where you can prepare your signature dish for you and your travel mates.

    • Is there curfew?

      No, reception is open 24/7.

    • Can I invite guests who are not staying at the hostel?

      Unfortunately not. For security reasons, we do not accept people who are not staying in the hostel.

    • Is there free wifi?

      Of course! All our hostels are equipped with free Wifi connection.

    • How can I get to the hostel?

      Check our contact page, find the hostel you boooked and find out the best way to reach the hostel by public transportation.

    • How can I get in touch with the hostel?

      Check our contact page: if you wanna chat directly with the hostel reception you can use whatsapp. To manage a reservation, please send an email to the bookings department.

    • Do you offer accommodation for big groups?

      Yes, both of our hostel in Barcelona have capacity for big groups of people. We also offer accommodation for small groups in central London.

    • Why should I book a hostel for a group trip?

      Youth hostels are ideal places to stay for groups who are looking for the cheapest accommodation options. They often have large rooms or dormitories, spacious common areas, different entertainment activities and group meals. If you are looking for cheap accommodation for a group in Barcelona and London, Urbany will be your best choice!

    • Do you offer group meals?

      Yes, we offer accommodation in Barcelona with group meals: beakfast, lunch, dinner, picnics an showcookings. We custom every single group regading their needs.

    • Do you offer accommodation in London?

      Yes, although we can only accommodate small groups.

    • Do you offer group activities?

      Yes! We offer an endless list of fun activities for groups: paella showcookings, tapas nights, karaokes, private rooftop parties… everything is personalized and we can adapt to your group’s necessities.

    • Do you offer accommodation with private barthrooms?

      We offer acoommodation with private bathroom for groups in Barcelona. Our youth hostel in London offer shared bathrooms (this is why we only accept groups +18).

    • Do you offer accommodation with breakfast included?

      We can offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Barcelona and London if querested. Our hostels in Barcelona offer a daily buffet breakfast and picnic-breakfast (under request). In London we offer accommodation with continental breakfast (under request).

    • Do you offer accommodation with group meals?

      At our Barcelona hostels we offer catering service meals either for lunch and dinner (under request).

    • Do you offer picnic meals?

      We can also organize picnic meals for groups in Barcelona under request.

    • Do you offer group meals adapted to special diets?

      Once you book your stay with us, our groups department will organize everything for you, adapting your group meals to special dietary needs (we can offer vegetarian group meals, halal group meals and adapt meals to any other specific dietary allergies).

    • Do you offer accommodation for groups in Barcelona city center?

      We have 2 hostels in Barcelona: a hostel in the city center of Barcelona and another hostel near Sagrada Familia. Will you be able to fins a better location?

    • Do you offer group accommodation in central London?

      Yes! Stay at our youth hostel in central London, near Hyde Park and Portobello Road Market.

    • Does the hostel offer 24/7 front desk service?

      Yes, we have hostels with 24-hour front desk service to guarantee the best service and security for our guests.

    • Do you have luggage room service in the hostel for groups?

      Yes! All our hostels offer free luggage room service for our groups (under request) to guarantee the comfort of our groups.
